Y / YKS / YKK High Voltage Motor
The three series use different cooling arrangements. Y motors use open-circuit air cooling, YKS motors use an air-to-water heat exchanger, and YKK motors use an air-to-air heat exchanger. Enclosure protection depends on the selected series and configuration.
Select the motor according to the required output, speed, starting conditions, driven-load inertia and cooling facilities. Standard mounting is IM B3, with other arrangements subject to confirmation.
Before installation or replacement, verify the electrical ratings, shaft dimensions, foundation interfaces, overall size and maintenance space using the model-specific documentation.ration.

Yes. The air-to-water heat exchanger requires a suitable cooling-water supply. Confirm the required flow, inlet temperature, pressure and water quality for the selected motor.
